Message Series and Special Services

Sunday Morning AM Service / Series (11 am):

From now until Easter, Pastor Troy will take us on a journey through the Gospel of Mark. This series is on SERVANTHOOD. This Gospelemphasizes two important characteristics of Jesus Christ: 1- His authority as the Son of God, and  2- His compassionate service to people (particularly in miracles). As you read Mark, you’ll see the word “immediately” repeated often: Mark is a quick, urgent, bold message about who Jesus is and what He did. Every passage in Mark, every miracle, every conversation, every deed, points back to Jesus’ authority as the Son of God. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mk 10:45)

Sunday Evening PM Service/Discipleship Study (5:30 pm):

During our evening service, we will be taking a deeper look into the morning message. We'll explore the verses, in a more in-depth, interactive and intimate way. Join us! We meet in Room D103.

Wednesday Evening Series (6:30 pm):

The Prophetical Books in Chronological Order is a study of Joel through Malachi. The prophets predicted future events and also proclaimed God's Word. They rebuked outward ritualism, confronted sin and were called on in time of crisis. Join us on Wednesday nights, as Pastor Troy teaches us about the Prophets of Israel!

The Lord's Supper:

Sunday, July 9, October 1, & December 10 - AM Service

The Lord's Supper reminds us of the means by which God's salvation was secured on our behalf. The unleavened bread is a symbol of the perfection of the Person of our Lord Jesus Christ in His body, soul and spirit. The fruit of the vine symbolizes the substitutionary, propitiatory and covenantal blood of an innocent sacrifice, shed for the remission of the sins of the guilty (see Romans 3:21-26; Hebrews 2:5-17; 7:27-28; 9:26-28; 1 Peter 3:18). The Lord's Supper, also called communion, demonstrates the doctrine of substitution -- Christ died for me (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Student Led Worship:

Next date TBD

Our Delaney Youth Band is made up of middle and high school students that love the Lord. Through praise and worship. they have a powerful impact on how people connect with God. When they lead worship, it sets a model for their peers and it gives them a piece of ownership in the ministry.

Worship Preview // Sundays (9 am)

We want you to have every opportunity to prepare yourself for worship. Each week, the songs for Worship are practiced at 9 am before the service. If you would like to listen to them ahead of time so you can prepare your heart for worship before participating in the service, then drop by for Worship Preview! We hope it will enhance your experience and provide enrichment to your worship!
