National Night Out

DELANEY BAPTIST CHURCH is hosting a National Night Out event! Join us on August 2, 2015 from 5-8 pm for a FREE Community Block Party... FOOD  |  FUN  |  FRIENDS  |  SAFETY

We support safe neighborhoods in our City Beautiful, so we are joining forces with the Orlando Police Department's Crime Prevention Division in celebrating Orlando’s National Night Out.

Delaney Baptist Church will be hosting a National Night Out Community Block Party this year on
August 2, 2015 from 5-8 pm. This is a completely free event and is open to anyone in the community.

This will be a night of food, fun and public safety information for the entire family. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore public safety vehicles, such as an ambulance, fire engine, police cars and much more. We will also have law enforcement and K9 demonstrations, S.W.A.T. and fire fighter gear will be on hand to explore and even try on, and public safety and city personnel will be here to meet and greet! The kids will enjoy face painting, a bounce house, crafts, balloon animals, and will even get to meet Scruff McGruff the Crime Dog and Smokey the Bear! This promises to be a fun and educational event that will build relationships and provide important information to keep our neighborhoods safe!

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

This is a great way to get out and get to know your neighbors, and help build a stronger and safer communities!  For more information on NNO, visit nationalnightout.org.

If you would like to participate and partner with us for our event, (vendors, donors, sponsors, etc.) please contact Andrea at delaneychurch@gmail.com.
